Due to its highly specific and in many cases sensitive nature, scientific translation requires a highly specialised translator and also the involvement of expert consultants in order to verify consistency of the text in the destination language.

For the main combinations of languages, our team includes translators with a degree or Masters in scientific disciplines who are generally entrusted with translating scientific texts such as medical reports, medical records, conference proceedings, magazine articles and studies of various sectors, and patient information leaflets of medical products.
This category also comprises patents in the sectors of medicine, pharmacology, chemistry, biology, and bio-technologies, to name just a few.
SCIENTIFIC COLLABORATIONS
Alltrad collaborates with the University of Torino, Arpa Piemonte, Arpa Valle d’Aosta, and Assobiomedica.
It provides the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Rome (INFN) with the translation of articles and press releases. It also translated the website of the institute into English.
A project for scientific translations from and into English was carried out for the University Division of Epidemiology of Local Health Unit TO3 as part of a tender contract it was awarded.
Alltrad also boasts experience in scientific translations required for various framework contracts entered into with institutions of the European Union, e.g., in the chemical (ECHA) and pharmaceutical (EMA) sectors.
